Sammie Henson’s coaching style focuses on positions that put points on the board.

Here at BullTrained we love words that start with F, Like Fargo and Finals. Although our favorite F word is Fundamentals because this F word leaves to Finishes. Too many athletes struggle to see their shots, then take shots that aren’t there because they feel pressure. They do this because they don’t understand how to use their hands and how to move their feet to open their opponent up. They lack positional fundamentals needed to finish their shots. 

This camp is designed to tighten your skills before you head off to Fargo. This camp isn’t hard and heavy. It’s technical, it will sharpen your hand fighting skills, help to develop counter offense, get your feet moving, and grow your confidence in your finishes.

Food + Accommodations

+ Showers and laundry facilities are located in the Bullpen

+ 3 meals per day provided for all overnight campers. Athletes are encouraged to bring their own water bottles and may bring their own food, snacks, and drinks. 

+ Camp store will have snacks and drinks for purchase.

+ Please bring an air mattress, sleeping bag, hygiene products, plus clothes for 6 workouts.

Travel Plans

All travel arrangements need to be made by parents.

We are 1.45hrs from STL and 2hrs from KC – STL is cheaper to fly into. The MO-X shuttle service can transport your athlete from the STL airport to Columbia, MO.


If you want to plan a get-a-way while your athlete is at camp we are 1.5 miles from Finger Lake State Park. We are also 1 hr from Lake of the Ozarks which is beautiful and fun filled. 

Our facility is only 15 minutes from Downtown Columbia so there are several hotels within a 20 minute drive.


      Parents + Coaches

  • Parents and coaches are encouraged to attend last session.
  • During camp we do not allow parents to attend sessions as we want wrestlers to not have anyone looking over their shoulders! The goal is to learn how to compete on their own in a competitive environment.
  • Taking pictures during the sessions is allowed, but no video taping please.
  • Parents and coaches are welcome to watch live social media coverage of competition practices. 
  • Camp spots are limited, there are no refunds.
